Mikumi National Park

“You are Tanzanian, have you never visited a national park in your country? Yes, just one, Mikumi. The road which leads to Iringa cross it, so you can pass through the park free of charge”

This neglected park is part of the Selous ecosystem. It can be easily reached by road or by air from Dar es Saalam.

There you can watch buffalos, giraffes, zebras, lions, leopards, antelopes, hippos and crocodiles.

Together with Selous it boasts the presence of wild dogs which have completely disappeared in northern parks.
